10th December at St Martin’s Church

Dear All,

1st Lower Morden Scout Group’s Christingle Carol Service – 10th December 2024

To close a very busy Scouting term and a very busy Scouting year I have the pleasure of inviting all the families and friends to the annual Christingle Carol Service.

It will be held on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at St Martin’s Church, Camborne Road, Morden, SM4 4JL. The service will start at 7.00pm and will last until about 8.15pm. There will also be tea, coffee and mince pies served after the service so please feel free to stay and chat afterwards.

Cubs and Scouts need to go directly to the Church at 6.45pm.

Beaver parents – please note: There will still be Beavers on Tuesday starting at the usual time of 5.45pm. The Beavers will be making the Christingle Oranges and they will then walk to the Church for 6.45pm. Please meet us at the church for the start of the service.

All children will sit at the front with the Leaders, please find your own seats within the congregation.

Uniform (with a tidy scarf) and SMART CLEAN SHOES will be required as we will be parading the Group flags.

May I also take this opportunity to wish you, on behalf of the 1st Lower Morden Scout Group, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Yours In Scouting
