Re: Term Subscriptions: Autumn Term
Along with the majority of Scout Groups and clubs, the 1st Lower Morden charges a subscription fee for all members. This membership subscription covers the cost of equipment and running costs of the Group.
Subscriptions (subs) at the 1st Lower Morden are currently £40 per term for the first child and £30 per for each subsequent child within the family. The next payment is due for the summer term. Please note that payment can only be made online and our bank details are as follows:
Lloyds Bank Blackheath, Sort Code: 30-90-89, Account Number 54266860. Please ensure you quote your child’s name and section as the reference.
The 1st Lower Morden also takes advantage of Gift Aid. This is a simple government initiative that allows the Group to increase the value of your donations at no extra cost to you. For every pound given we can claim an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs, helping your donations go further. This really does help the Group’s finances. A Gift Aid form is on our website and if you need a hard copy then let us know.
Please ensure that subs are paid by the 8th October 2026, but if paying subs causes any issues, please contact me in confidence. NO ONE needs to miss out on scouting because of affordability.
