Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

Here, at the 1st Lower Morden we have a very active Cub Pack. We meet every term time Tuesday evening from 7pm – 8.30pm at the Group Headquarters in Bow Lane and we average 25-30 active members.

Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10.5 years old. As a Cub, there are a lot of fun, adventurous, inclusive and challenging things you can do. You will get a chance to try lots of new and different activities ranging from Archery to Zorbing and everything else in-between!

There are a huge range of badges that can be earned and these can be achieved by working towards them with the rest of the pack, your six or earned at home by yourself.

Weekly meetings at our HQ will include both indoor and outdoor activities, exploring our local community as well as organised activities in a variety of different places.

We also take part in many Group, District and County events including camping, swimming galas, sports days, chess competitions, football tournaments, laser quest, bowling, scooter rallies, hikes, sailing, canoeing and much much more!

If you are interested in joining Cubs then please fill in the form by clicking the button to the left and we will be in touch as soon as we can find you a place!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
