France 2026 – Scout Trip

Due to the success of our previous trips abroad we have decided to go again. This time it will be to the Ardèche in the South of France through www.adventureardeche.com

As this is a water centre, your child must be a confident swimmer.

A standard weeks trip could look like this:

Saturday -Travel day arrives late afternoon, get settled into tents and have a swim in the river. We stay in a tented village

Sunday -am – Local trek pm – Raft building eve – walk to a cave

Monday – am – Excursion to a market pm – Visit to a show cave eve – River talk

Tuesday – am – intro to water kayaking pm – short river trip -eve – Games

Wednesday – Kayak challenge -25km kayak through the Ardeche Gorge

Thursday – High ropes park

Friday – am – Team building and initiative exercises – pm Paddle boarding

Saturday – Travel day

Flights, meals and activities will be included in the price. We will need to book flights so the total cost is an estimate – we are anticipating £895.00.

We are gathering interest and numbers for the trip. If your child is interested in joining us, please could you us know – we can then firm up dates and ask for a deposit from you to book a place.
