Re: St Georges Day Parade – Sunday 26th April 2026
As usual the Group will be participating in the District St George’s Day Parade this year.
The parade will be held on the above date in Wimbledon Village. We will be assembling at The Causeway on Wimbledon Common at 1.00pm and the parade will move off at about 1.45pm. Please do not be late! We will all then march to the Sacred Heart Church, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, where the service will start at 2.20pm.
Full, smart and correct uniform is required with SHOES not trainers. It is possible that if it is raining then we may be directed to go straight to the College and not march. Please bring a coat.
Parents and families are welcome to attend and support the Group and there will be a charitable collection at the service. The service will finish by approximately 3.20pm and the District will be dismissed on the school’s playing fields at about 4pm. Please note that there is limited parking available in the surrounding roads and Edge Hill has double yellow lines.
***This is the one event where your child’s presence is strongly requested so please do encourage your child to attend. It is the one time in the year where all the District meet up together to renew their Law & Promise.***
